Scary Kitty

17 July 2010

Because we love kitties so very much (very very much), I think we sometimes forget how much they scare us too.

Stalking through the Pine Ridge. Silent. But deadly.

Oh who am I kidding? We love kitties, and that means even the scary ones too. What's more, Love neutralizes Scary five days a week. Evenings and weekends. 24/7.

Still, just knowing that this kitty came up behind us three minutes after checking the camera gives us retroactive willies.

At present Dr Kelly wrestles with catastrophic gear failures, repetitive vehicle breakdown disorder, alcohol poisoning, and mosquito-itis. All the hallmarks of another great Field Season, and as she and her crew push further and further into the wilds of Belize, kitties everywhere pause to salute her.

And then resume silently stalking her. Yikes!
